The Isago Development Project (IDP) will be hosting the ‘Good deeds food street market for charity’ on 28 November 2020 at Ntja Park Thage Street in Atteridgeville as part of their work to give back to the community.

The IDP is a Non-profit Organization that helps the youth to develop confidence so that they can achieve in life.

They do this by donating food and toiletries, particularly so that children do not miss school because they do not have these necessities.

The IDP was registered on 02 March 2020 by six members who all have different passions for giving back and empowering the youth.

Mss Tshepiso Matalane, the chairperson of IDP, said the aim is to bring change to the community.

“We plan to educate and empower young people by giving them hope in life. Among the things we do is to distribute dignity packs to orphanages,” she said.

Even though the organization does not have direct sponsorship, they are supported by DJs MrVes, King P, and NA who entertain the kids at events. The DJs also provide a food stall, kids corner, games corner for adults and aerobics sessions in the mornings.

For donations can be made to the Isago Development Project.
