People from the ages of 18-34 will be able to start registering for the vaccination from 20 August 2021 as announced by the Department of Health.
This is earlier than the date of September when this age group was due to be able to register.
The department of health has set a target of fully vaccinating people at 70% of the adult population by December, totaling 29 million adults by then and currently, over 7 million people have been vaccinated and over 4 million fully vaccinated.
To register, people should send “REGISTER” on 060 013 3456 on WhatsApp or dial *134*832# or visit http://vaccine.enroll.health.gov.za or call 0800 029 999 on Monday to Friday at 7am to 8pm, Weekends and Public holidays at 8am to 6pm.
