Clicks Health and Beauty retailers that provide healthcare service have offended black people in the country by advertising black hair as dry and damaged and white hair as fine and flat.
This led to protests against the chain store led by the Economic Freedom Fighters demanding that the chain stores be shutdown.
Mr Julias Malema, the EFF Commander in Chief, followed by his party members, embarked on a peaceful protest demanding that the stores be closed in SA.

Saulsville resident, Mr Shaun Makhubela, said what clicks have done is wrong to all blacks. He said he is affected by the shutdown because he is unable to collect his grandmother’s prescribed medication from clicks clinic.
Yvonne Rhamukhuba (24) who is an essential worker at clicks said, “I feel so disappointed by what the clicks management allowed to happen, we might as well be unemployed if the EFF’s demand becomes successful. I am a breadwinner and I cannot do that without coming to work.
