A Tshwane Bus Services (TBS) bus burnt down yesterday at Pretorius Street, in the Pretoria CBD.
The Media Director at the City of Tshwane, Mr Lindela Mashigo, said it is reported that the fire started with smoke coming from the engine and it is suspected that the fire may be mechanical or electricity-related.
“The city is reliant on the investigation that is underway and we are glad that no passenger on board got injured.
“There will be no interruption of service on the route that was serviced by this burnt bus as a substitute bus will be provided,” he said.
