Bontlefela Street Delicatessen is a stand that sells and makes different types of local and African cooked food that is located at Centurion Central and found on Uber Eats.
Mr Kagiso Mongale the founder of Bontlefela Street said he wants to provide access to good quality and healthy meals with tastes from all over the world without breaking the bank.
Mr Mongale began the company with his sister in 2008 as Bontlefela then due to financial struggles, the business closed in 2010 and his sister left the company. Although the company was closed, Mr Mongale continued cooking in competitions.
The company had a rebirth on 28 August 2020 as Bontlefela Entertainment servicing public and private events and also provided catering at clubs while running food stalls in different food markets in Pretoria.
Bontlefela currently employs three women on a full-time and part-time basis.
“I am excited because I want to be out there and be known for providing great quality, affordable and healthy food.
“Currently my challenge is to get the brand out there and getting appropriate equipment. Street food is becoming popular around the world and Bontlefela Street is right there at the forefront,” he said.
