A young entrepreneur, Mr Mpho Bokaba, from Atteridegille, has launched his own liquid dishwasher together with his wife, Ms Dikeledi Bokaba.
They started the business in early 2019 and succeeded in launched their liquid dishwasher brand called Starcleaner, which has become a known brand due to the publicity and advertising efforts of the couple.
Mr Bokaba said the reason to start their business was to try and eliminate or reduce the high unemployment. The target market is female consumers from the ages 18 and above.
“Before we started manufacturing, we tried other businesses with friends, however, that was not a success. We were also in the transport industry and also sold clothes and currently, we have other products that are still in the testing phase,” said Mr Bokaba.
