The movements donated care packs to Rose happy times elderly home

Over 30 care packs were donated by the 100+ movement, You Inspire Me and Lioness Movement to Rose Happy Times Home and Boikhutso Place of Safety charities in Atteridgeville on 29 August 2020.

The movements were commemorating their late friend, Treasure Maxine, who passed away on July 29 2020.

Tebatso Kiewiet the spokesperson for the 100+ movement said Treasure Maxine was passionate about the elderly people and children and both these homes represent one of each.

“Maxine was humble and a sweet soul who was dedicated to giving back. Her dream was to have an old age home that cared for older people,” he said.

“Giving back is our self -imposed duty and this project were very close to our hearts as Maxine was. It was a priceless moment to see the elderly and the children singing and dancing because someone remembered them,” he said.

The members of the charity organization committed to continue donating to the needy and to building the Home that Maxine wished for.
