Christmas was made special for communities

Basic groceries, shoes, clothes and sanitary pads that were donated. And also freshly cooked lunch served at Phomolong taxi rank.

Ponelopele Community Development and Kasi Edutainment delivered Christmas by donating basic groceries, clothes, shoes, and sanitary pads to families at Tsunami, Atteridgeville, Indaba Zosindiso Orphanage, and Children Vulnerable Centre at Elandspoort on December 25.

The organizations also cooked and shared fresh meals at Atteridgeville Phomolong Taxi Rank, the community ofHalelatsang Safety Home and at the Multi-Purpose Community Centre.

Jay Madisha from Kasi Edutainment said, even though sharing love is an everyday sentiment and gesture of living, the 25th of December is a special day of sharing love and giving.

“I am grateful to my family, neighbors, friends, and everyone that sacrificed their time, energy, and money to make sure that we make Christmas Day Special for the needy. May God Bless You all,” he said.
